Each day at Laurel Hill begins with the Morning News Show. This 5-minute production includes the school song, the Pledge of Allegiance, a moment of silence, and the day's headlines and special announcements.

The show is produced entirely by sixth graders.  All fifth-grade students can apply to join the News Show crew in their sixth-grade year. Teams of students rotate through crew positions during the school year.
